Cognitive Behavior Therapy
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is a type of therapy where we focus on understanding and changing thoughts and actions to improve how we feel. We start by identifying the negative thoughts that are making you feel bad, such as "I'm not good enough" or "I always mess things up." Then, we work together to question whether these thoughts are really true or helpful. Alongside changing thoughts, we also look at changing behaviors, exploring new ways of doing things that might help you feel better. We'll come up with practical strategies to deal with difficult situations, which might involve practicing new ways of thinking or trying out new behaviors.
